I do not wear much makeup, I love the classic “no make-up” look. However, I do need mascara to feel awake. If I had to choose only one makeup product to put on before going out, it would definitely be mascara. I have a very active life: working full time, traveling almost every week and working out several days a week. And it has been challenging to find a good mascara that that stays put throughout the whole day. I tested dozens of different ones and picked the top ones below, in three main categories: best overall, best budget mascara & best waterproof mascara. There were many other good ones, but I love simplicity and excellence, and therefore, decided to list only the three I considered the best.

1. Estee Lauder | Double Wear Zero-Smudge Lenghtening Mascara
This is the best mascara I have ever tried. It lasts the full day, over 16 hours without smudging. It’s easy to remove and makes your lashes look amazing! If you have not tried it, you definitely should! I only discovered this over one year ago and it changed my life!

2. essence | Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara
This mascara is very good, it makes your lashes look super full and lasts several hours. However, after 8 hours I did notice some smudging. I would recommend as best budget mascara. It’s also easy to remove and a favorite of many instragrammers.

3. eyeko | Beach Waterproof Mascara
After trying many mascaras, I discovered eyeko brand. They have a wide offer of really good mascaras. This one is my brand’s favourite as it lasts the longest without smudging and I consider it to be the best waterproof option available. It was my favorite mascara, until I discovered the Estee Lauder one listed at the top. Also, it makes your lashes look full but not too much, and it’s easy to remove. I would also recommend several of the other mascaras from eyeko.
